#66. Trese 3: Mass Murders

Trese 3: Mass Murders by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo

Pub: Visprint, Inc.

ISBN: 971-94569-0-6

The third book of Trese, a black and white, 160-page graphic novel that is settled in Metro Manila.

Our leading lady is the sixth child of the sixth child was born to fight the aswangs and enkantos of the underworld. Her name is Alexander Trese and she followed the steps of his father, Anton Trese in fulfilling the task of clearing the world from these underworld creatures. She turned 18 and she became the city’s warrior.

I pre-ordered this book last Manila International Bookfair at SMX last September and I was able to meet Budjette and also Kajo at the Visprint booth. Then, last October 16, 8.15 PM, my very own TRESE 3 came at our very own doorstep. Tee-hee.

I can’t put down the book! I am always fascinated the way they made the fighting and barilan scene (esp. when the Kambal enters the scene) and they answer the questions about the past of the Kambal. Just awesome!

it’s not yet available at powerbooks, to my chagrin. when i read your post on Flips Flipping Pages, i rushed to the bookstore. i’ll visit fully booked – Rockwell later; i hope i see a copy there.

  2. I think, Mr. Budjette haven’t announced it yet if it is available in major bookstores.
